This course covers the major topics of mechanism design without monetary transfers. It reviews the main papers including the very recent contributions and has a focus on analytical tools. Among the topics covered are: delegation, dynamic mechanisms, school choice, mechanisms with evidence and verification, and information disclosure. Evaluation will be based on several written “referee reports” and an oral presentation.
